Adjust Column Width Easily

Adjust column width on Excel is our routine activity, if we’re creating Excel project. Usually, we set it to longest character number on our data in that column. Because if your data is longer than your column width, it appears be #### character. I have a trick to make it easier.

1. I try to type several data, I have short data and long data with long data, and like usual, if my data is longer than its column width, I’ll get #### character.

2. Pointing your mouse cursor to edge of column header until your cursor be like below picture, usually if you want adjust column width you’ll drag it until your data is totally exposed. But if you have a lot data on that column, that way isn’t a effective way. To adjust it automatically, just double it and your column width will adjusted to longest data in that column.
