Manage Windows Accounts
Every computer has its accounts. By default, Windows will install Administrator and Guest account into your computer. This article talks about how to set a password for your account and create a new user name. Actually, you can set its group too, but I thought I will write it on next time. This tutorial is a basic, and maybe useful for a newbie user.
And these are its steps to do it:
- Click Start –> Control Panel menu.

- In Control Panel, double click Administrative Tools icon.

- In Administrative Tools, double click Computer Management icon.

- Navigate to Local Users and Groups -> Users key.
- To create a password or change user’s password, right click on user name which you want to modify and then click Set Password… menu.

- You’ll confirm, just click Proceed button.

- Enter your new password, you need to enter same password between New Password and Confirm Password fields and then click OK button to save your new password.

If it success, a message box will appear.

- To create a new user, right click on Users key, and then click New User… menu.

- Fill all fields in New User form, I like to set the options to User cannot change password and Password never expires but you can set it by your own options. If you’re done, click Create button.

- And a new user has created.
