Other Ways To Bookmark On Firefox

If you like surfing the Internet, you’ll find so many new things that you get in there. And this part, Bookmark tool that you can find in every Internet browser will be in use. In this article I will distribute the tricks to bookmark your favorite website with Firefox more easily.

This trick tried with Firefox version 2 but I think this trick will run on version 3 too.
OK, follow these steps:

  1. Firefox has a great bookmark toolbar that make us can bookmark easier.

  2. Firefox give many way to bookmark a website with bookmark toolbar, first way is right click on bookmark toolbar and choose New Bookmark menu.

  3. Just fill the textbox on the dialog form, if you check the Load this Bookmark in the sidebar you’ll website will display in the Firefox sidebar

    so I suggest you don’t necessary to check that value and if you finished click OK button (figure-3).New bookmark menu
  4. You’ll get the new toolbar button.

  5. You also add a separator to make you more comfort to explore your toolbar bookmark with right click on toolbar and choose New Separator menu

  6. And you’ll get result.

  7. I suggest you make some folder to organize you bookmark. To make a folder just right click on the toolbar and then choose New Folder menu.

  8. Fill the folder name and its description if you like and then click OK button.

    And you’ll get the result like picture below.

  9. Second way, you can use the drag and drop method, just click and hold a hyperlink to toolbar or folder, this is a easiest solution to bookmark your link!

  10. If you drop it to toolbar you can see the result is like picture below

    And if you drop it to a folder in the toolbar you’ll get the result like picture below.

Note: I tried this trick with Firefox 2 Mac version but you can try this trick to Windows version too with exactly same steps(picture below this show the Firefox bookmark toolbar, that’s the same appearance, isn’t it?).
