Contrary with my article that discusses about disable Indexing Service that caused Windows Search is not working properly. Usually, you disable it because you’re not using Search facility. In this article I consider you’re using Search menu everyday. And it seems is like my experience when I try to find a file using Windows Search, it could not find my file. Then, I could find it easily using Windows Explorer. This problem is caused your file doesn’t indexed yet by Indexing service which works on background especially if your file is a new file.
The result from indexing service is put on its catalog. You can reset the catalog to force Windows to re-index entire of your files and folders. And these are the way:
1. Stop Indexing Service first by enter net stop “Indexing Service” at DOS console. To open DOS console, you can click Start -> Run, enter cmd in box and then press Enter. For detail information to start Indexing Service, you can read this article.

2. Open Indexing Service console by click Start -> Run menu, enter ciadv.msc in box, and then press Enter.

3. In Indexing Service console, right System catalog, and then click All Tasks -> Empty Catalog menu.

4. Click Yes, if you’re asked by a confirmation message box.

5. Close Indexing Service console window.
6. Then starts Indexing Service by enter at DOS console prompt, net start "Indexing Service".
And Indexing service will begin to rebuild its catalog automatically and you can get a fresh index.
