Removing Unused Item In Add/Remove Programs

I was uninstalling my CorelDraw yesterday because of a trouble. After several steps to uninstall, it looks like removed smoothly. But I was a little surprised that CorelDraw is still listed in the list of Add / Remove Programs in Control Panel. My friend tried to give me a way to remove the program from the list. Then I was trying it and it was works. And I want to share it for you.
OK, follow these steps:

  1. Check your Add/Remove program at Control Panel to make sure that your list still available at there, click Start -> Control Panel.

  2. Click Add/Remove Programs icon.

  3. And find your troubled program at lists, if you don’t find it it means you have been uninstalled the program successfully but if you don’t, you have to remove it manually.

  4. To remove it manually, I will using Registry Editor tool, to open it just click Start -> Run, enter regedit in textbox and then press Enter key.

  5. And locate the path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Uninstall.

  6. Start to find your program and pay attention at DisplayName value, for example if you want to remove CorelDraw Graphics Suite 12 you must find it until you get it on DisplayName like picture below:

  7. And if you have found it, just right click on registry string and then choose Delete or you can press your Delete button directly.

  8. You will confirm to delete it, click Yes.

  9. Your program has been gone…
