Yes, with AutoCorrect you can reduce error in typing your document because if you make a mistake, AutoCorrect will then fix it to you. Beside it, AutoCorrect have other advantages that I want to show you.

This time I want to give just example to using the AutoCorrect function:

  1. Open your Microsoft Word through Start – All Programs – Microsoft Word or via Start – Run, type winword in box and then press Enter key.

  2. OK, type ‘###’ (type it without quote mark) on the document and press ENTER key.

  3. The result will be like picture below.

  4. Next, try type ‘***’ (type asterisk three times without quote character) on the document and then press ENTER key.

  6. Next, try type ‘– Test Row 1′ (type it without quote mark and Test Row string may change with whatever string you want) and then press ENTER key.

  8. Next, try type ‘===’ (type it without ‘) and then press ENTER key.

  10. Next, try type ‘___’ (type it without quote mark) and then press ENTER key.

  16. If you get trouble with AutoCorrect, try to look your AutoCorrect setting first, if you are a Windows user, click Tools – AutoCorrect Option menu

  17. And then click Autoformat As You Type tab and make sure you has check the right value on their options.

  18. And if you’re a Mac OS X user (Using Microsoft Office 2004 Mac) click Tools – AutoCorrect menu
