And I don’t like it because I want to explore entire my computer drives within it. My wish is the side bar is explorer sidebar that contain folders and drives three. Actually, you can do that with click Folder button on toolbar but I don’t want to click it every time I open My Computer. If you have the same problem with me you can try this solution.

If you open My Computer you will get window like this picture:

So, if you like to open My Computer with explore mode rather than standard view, follow these steps:

In My Computer window, click Tools -> Folder Options menu.

Click File Types tab and find Extensions: [NONE] and File Types: Folder then click it, if it has clicked, click Advanced button.

Click Actions: explore and then click Set Default button, click OK button.

Close Folder Options window.

Close My Computer window and reopen it and you’ll get explore mode for My Computer.

If your right click My Computer icon on desktop or Start menu, a usual pop menu will appear. And if you click Properties menu then, System Properties window will shown. And you can change lot computer settings inside there. And this is a danger ‘window’ for a wrong user. The naughty user may destroy computer through it.

So, to make it safer, you can remove Properties menu to block a way to it.
Try to right click My Computer inside Start menu, you can see Properties menu in there.

To remove it, do these steps:

Open Registry Editor by click Start -> Run menu, enter
regedit
in box and then press Enter key.

Navigate to this registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ policies.

Right click on policies key, click New – > Key menu to create a new key.

Replace the original value to Explorer name. But if you’ve seen Explorer key in there, you don’t need to create this key.

Right empty space on right panel, and then click New –> DWORD Value menu.

Replace the original value with NoPropertiesMyComputer.

Modify its value to 1 by double click NoPropertiesMyComptuer value, enter value 1 in box and then click OK button.

Now your Properties menu has gone.

To show the Properties menu, give it value: 0 or remove NoPropertiesMyComputer menu.
