If you want to change the Administrator account name (sometimes, we can be boring with that name or your have your own purpose), I&#8217;ll share the solution&#8230;<span id="more-23"></span><br />
The default account name for Administrator is Administrator (Microsoft set it as default name) <img src='http://www.otakatik.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' />  (figure-1).<br />

<p>Follow these steps:<br />
1. Open Control Panel via <strong>Start &#8211; Control Panel</strong> menu.<br />

<p>2. Open <strong>Administrative Tools</strong>, you can open it by double click <em>Administrative Tools icon</em> that located inside Control Panel.<br />

<p>3. After Administrative Tools is opened, double click <strong>Local Security Policy</strong>.<br />

<p>4. Inside Local Security Policy, click <strong>Security Options</strong>.<br />

<p>5. Find Accounts: <strong>Rename administrator account</strong>.<br />

<p>6. After Accounts: Rename administrator account Properties is opened,<br />

<p>just change the value in textbox (default value is Administrator).<br />

<p>7. You will bring back to main screen of Local Security Policy and the value has changed.<br />

<p>8. Restart your computer and you will see that Administrator account name has changed as you wish.<br />
