Obvious, Help and Support is very useful to us. But another hand, if you’re an expert user, I think you’ll never touch it. So, if you never touch it, just remove it and make your Start menu keeps clean.<span id="more-121"></span></p>
<p>To remove it, we’ll play with registry again.</p>
<ol>
<li> Open Registry Editor by click <strong>Start</strong> -&gt; <strong>Run</strong>, enter <code>regedit</code> in box and then press Enter.<br />
<img title="Open Registry Editor" src="http://www.otakatik.com/wp-content/uploads/general/run-dialog-regedit.jpg" alt="Open Registry Editor" /></li>
<li>Navigate to path: <strong>HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policices \ Explorer</strong>.<br />
<img title="Explorer key" src="http://www.otakatik.com/wp-content/uploads/tiptrick101/0146/explorer_1.jpg" alt="Explorer key" /></li>
<li>Find <strong>NoSMHelp </strong>value, if you don’t find it, create it. To create it, right click <strong>Explorer </strong>key (or empty space on right panel), and then click <strong>New</strong> -&gt;<strong> DWORD</strong> value menu.<br />
<img title="New DWORD menu" src="http://www.otakatik.com/wp-content/uploads/general/new_DWORD_value.jpg" alt="New DWORD menu" /></li>
<li>Then replace the original value with <strong>NoSMHelp </strong>value.<br />
<img title="NoSMHelp value" src="http://www.otakatik.com/wp-content/uploads/tiptrick101/0146/nosmghelp_2.jpg" alt="NoSMHelp value" /></li>
<li>Double click <strong>NoSMHelp </strong>value and replace its value data from <strong>0</strong> to <strong>1</strong>.<br />
<img title="Change value data" src="http://www.otakatik.com/wp-content/uploads/tiptrick101/0146/change_value_3.jpg" alt="Change value data" /></li>
<li>Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.</li>
<li>The <strong>Help and Support</strong> menu has been disappeared.<br />
<img title="Result" src="http://www.otakatik.com/wp-content/uploads/tiptrick101/0146/result_4.jpg" alt="Result" /></li>
</ol>
<p>To show it again, just change its value data to 0 or remove NoSMHelp value.<br />
