Turn Skype Spy Off

Do you know Skype always logs your conversation with your friend? By default, Skype always records it. This feature is like a knife sides, the light side is if your conversation is recorded, you can look again your important conversation logs. But the dark side is every user who can acces your computer can see your conversation records. But down worry, you can turn it off and manage it. So, you can keep it privacy.

To turn it off, just follow these steps:

1. Check your status at Skype status bar, is Skype records your conversation? If the status says History on, it means you’re recording.

2. Open Skype configurations window by click Tools – Options menu.

3. Click Privacy tab, focus on Keep chat history for section. If you choose no history, you will not logged/recorded but if you choose forever, you will be recorded. If you’re done, click Save button. You can also clear all of your history conversation logs by click Clear Chat History button.

4. Now, check your status at status bar, if it says History off, it means your entire conversation are not being recorded.
